Supreme Court Disclosures
It is the Supreme Court of New Mexico, who, through their Rules of Professional Conduct, require that almost all attorney advertisements carry the disclosure "LAWYER ADVERTISEMENT." If the Supreme Court of New Mexico, a body of extremely experienced attorneys, thinks the public needs these disclosures then you had really better be careful when dealing with lawyers.
If a website goes beyond very basic information, for example name, practice areas and contact information, then, pursuant to Rules of Professional Conduct, 16-701 and 16-702, it must include the "LAWYER ADVERTISEMENT" disclosure. Some law firms omit this on their websites, even though they go beyond the basic information.
This website is a Lawyer Advertisement under the Rules of Professional Conduct.
